Food is great here! Really nice ocean views on the patio. Love the grilled fish tacos and calamari. The service here is usually great! I came here today and sat at the bar and the bartender was a little rude and seemed to be having a bad morning, but other times I've been here the service has been great.

Great service, food and ambiance. Few selection of dessert but I like the key lime pie that they offer! The lavender cocktail is a bomb!

The first time that I ate here at DUKE'S was with my Besties. This time I went with my Husband. Surprisingly we got seated at the same spot when I went here with my Besties. We got our table where we could see the beautiful view of the Ocean. Our server came and happily introduced herself, telling us that it was also her first day working at Duke's. She is very knowledgeable about their menu, so that helped us to easily choose what to get. We got: *SASHIMI - Fresh Ahi, wasabi edamame salad, pickled ginger, and shoyu. *GUAVA DAIQUIRI - Koloa white rum, elderflower liqueur, guava puree, and fresh lime juice. *RIBS & CHICKEN PLATE - Kurobuta pork ribs, mango BBQ sauce, and grilled huli chicken. *MANGO PORK RIBS - Kurobuta pork ribs, and mango bbq sauce. *KIMO'S ORIGINAL PIE - Chocolate cookie crust, macadamia nuts ice cream, hot fudge, toasted mac nuts, and whipped cream. My GUAVA DAIQUIRI got delivered fast to me and OMG I love it, it's so smooth and delicious. I had a Guava daiquiri drink before, but I like the one they serve here, it actually became my favorite drink! Our SASHIMI came, and it was very fresh and good. I loved the HAWAIIAN PLATES LUNCHES, the RIBS were Tender and the Sauce on it was just so good, it had a light spice and a good tanginess and sweetness. I got the one with BBQ that also comes with Skewered Chicken, but the Chicken was dry and had no flavor. But I didn't get too disappointed about that part 'coz the BBQ RIBS made my Tastebud and Tummy Happy! Our dessert came and it was a big one. It wasn't overly sweet and it was so good with the hot fudge. This place has a nice view, delicious food and drinks, and good service. Street Parking and a nearby Valet available.

We met some friends for a Friday night dinner here. The place has a great modern Hawaiian decor. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Reservations are a requirement because the place is so popular. The seafood was fresh and presentation was great but the flavors were a little bland. Overall a great experience.

Good food in a gorgeous setting. We had a nice table by the railing for an early dinner. Tasty choices, we all opted for seafood. Cocktails and a shared huge slice oh Hula Pie!

Nice environment, near the beach - food is alright but the overall taste is a bit bland so could be done a lot better. Hula pie was pretty good though! Service is pretty good too! Overall a nice little place - prices as expected for the area

We came for dinner and really enjoyed the atmosphere and food! We ordered the coconut shrimp, poke tacos and not featured was the clam chowder and our main dish which was sautéed mac nut! That was the best menu highlight on Google and Yelp and it definitely was. Would definitely come back when I'm here in San Diego again. Also requested for outside seating because the weather was gorgeous and same for the views. Service did not disappoint and they were so quick to bring everything out to us.

Friend's recommendation held up well. I recommend sitting outside if you can, but they keep the door open so you get a bit of a breeze if you sit inside also. Hurricane chicken plate - pretty good. Nothing new to me, but a good standard fried chicken & rice dish. Only thing I wasn't a fan of was the mac salad, but I'm never a fan of mac salads. Ribs & chicken plate - Impressed with this. Chicken and ribs were both cooked well, tender and seasoned beautifully. Quite the portion and well worth imo Hula pie - Saw waiters walking around with a giant slice of something topped with whipped cream and had to get it. I really commend Duke's for keeping this dessert not too sweet, down to the ice cream and chocolate sauce. It could've easily been overpowering and nasty, but I had no problem sharing it with the table. The hula pie even comes with its own cute plate! I would definitely come back here to try their poke or other fish dishes. Really glad I stopped by while I was in the area, and I'll be coming back if I'm back soon!
